Cape Coral

Cape Coral is made up of 114 square miles of land and has over 400 miles of fresh and salt water canals running through it. Recreational highlights include the Cape Coral Yacht Club Community Park which features a public beach, fishing pier and picnic shelters. Four Freedoms Park and Recreation Center is geared to all ages and offers a view of Bimini Basin. Rotary Park Environmental Center has a boardwalk, observation tower, nature trails, butterfly house and native gardens. Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce hosts a variety of seasonal Farmer’s Markets plus a year-round market at the Shops at Surfside. Cape Coral is also home to Sunsplash Water Park and Coral Oaks Public Golf Course in addition to a variety of dining, shopping, arts and theater offerings.

Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel and Captiva Islands are all just a short drive away for Cape Coral residents, right across the sparkling Caloosahatchee River. These neighboring cities provide additional opportunities for education, work and play.

Fort Myers Historic Downtown District

The historic Fort Myers River District is just across the bridge from Cape Coral. It overlooks the Caloosahatchee River and is known for its boutique-style shops, restaurants, coffee shops, community sidewalk events and nightlife, as well as Harborside Convention Center and Centennial Park, where major festivals and events are held throughout the year. Home to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, historic Fort Myers provides unique cultural activities for all ages.

Casa di Fiori can be easily accessed from downtown Fort Myers via Old 41 and taking a left on Bayshore/Hwy. 78/Pine Island Road. Continue west on Pine Island Road, and then turn left on Hancock Creek South Blvd and left again on Winding Pines Circle.

Numerous sporting events are held throughout Lee County including spring training games for the Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, as well as minor league Miracle baseball and Everblades hockey.

The area’s international airport allows residents to enjoy convenient travel and frequent visits from family and friends. Interstate 75 takes drivers to Naples, Tampa, Orlando and Miami in a few hours or less.
